Get to Know Us
The Dispersed Radiology EAst Midlands, or DREaM Academy, has been seven years in development as a collaboration between NHSE (formally Health Education England), University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and University Hospitals of Derby NHS Foundation Trust. The purpose of the academy is to develop a skilled imaging workforce through state-of-the-art, regionally delivered multi-professional training in Radiology.
Postgraduate Virtual Learning Environment (PGVLE)
The DREaM Academy utilises the PGVLE, developed by HEE West Midlands, as a centralised platform to organise and deliver clinical education, training and faculty development across the region. The PGVLE itself is a clinically driven project built and run by doctors in a collaborative way with collegial intentions.

The PGVLE provides a complete online experience and is powered by Moodle and the Big Blue Button.
It continues to expand with ongoing growth focused on supporting all grade of doctors in both learning and professional development.
